Look at this sky! Look at this water! This sand! It beckons you, doesn't it?
Come on down for a clear, gorgeous, LOW HUMIDITY- yes you read right- Labor Day weekend.
However, just a little Panama City Noir, for ya. Here are the dolphin killers. This was picked up in about the space of- yes- 20 minutes.
The clear plastic looks like jellyfish to sea turtles, rays, and dolphins. The straws get caught in dolphins' blowholes and kill them. The 'smalls' look like little chofers; minnows, and cut, choke and starve the sea animals.
Please don't bring any of these on the beach, and pick up your neighbors' trash, if for some reason they can't. Please use Big Blue here!
Flipper will thank you.
Speaking of precious baby dolphins- if we kill all of ours in the gulf, we can always go to Gulf World, which seems to be in the throes of a blessed dolphin population explosion. Click here to see the latest! What a great weekend to be in PCB, making memories!
AND speaking of memories- remember, if you have any pics or stories about the east end -lagoon- state park area of PCB, esp before 1980, please let me know!
Have a great weekend- wherever you are!
