The Bell at The Tabernacle at Camp. It tolled to call us to worship at 11AM and at 7?PM. Lest you unfortuates think this was excessive, you have never sat under a cool tin roof under oaks, smelling wood and dry leaves and old hymnals, listening to birds and insects and occasionally even the speaker, back when southern presbyterian preachers still knew how to sing it.
We even had young people's time, when I first heard The Lion, The
Witch, and the Wardrobe read. Outside, of course.
